One question

Three honest answers.

  • Cook

A random dish from hand-picked recipes, filtered to what you have the time and energy for. Then it walks you through the cooking, step by step.

  • Eat Out

A random restaurant nearby, narrowed by cuisine and how far you’re willing to walk. Spin the wheel and stop negotiating about it.

  • Order In

A random fast-food place nearby, picked in a second. For the evenings where cooking was never realistically going to happen.

Good to know.

Is What2Eat free?
Yes. What2Eat is free to download on the App Store for iPhone.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no login. The app opens straight into everything it does.
What are the three modes?
Cook gives you a random dish from hand-picked recipes and walks you through it step by step. Eat Out picks a random restaurant near you. Order In picks a random fast-food place nearby.
Why does it want my location?
Only to find places near you, when you use Eat Out, Order In or the other nearby features. Your location is never sent to us, and Cook works completely without it.
Can it avoid my allergies?
You can filter out all fourteen allergens UK law names and block any ingredient. The filters are worked out from ingredient names, so if you have an allergy always check the full recipe and the packaging yourself.
